the CACHE Level 3 qualification if the student passes GMS test for entry to Level 3


seek employment, and then train through the employers Level 3 programme


CACHE Level 3 Award/Certificate/Diploma in Childcare and Education


Continue to:


University (e.g. Teaching; Nursing; Child Psychology; Social work) Private Nannying A teacher assistant role in a Primary school


OR seek Nursery employment and complete:


CACHE NVQ Level 4 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development.


Certificate in Professional Development in Work with Children and Young People (optional units from Level 3 Replacement DCE).


Level 4 Certificate in Managing Quality Standards in Children’s services.


Sector Endorsed Foundation Degrees (experience needed). New Senior Practitioner Status (experience needed).
