Taking English has


benefitted me in many ways, it has broadened my vocabulary and


knowledge of literature and shown me the


importance of it in the modern world.


Subject at A2 At A2 students complete two units.


Unit 3 is worth 30% of the total A Level and involves a 2 hour 30 minutes examination involving unprepared extracts and wider reading on the theme of Love through the Ages.


Unit 4 is worth 20% of the total A Level and involves a piece of coursework, 3000 words long, comparing a Shakespeare plays to two other texts.
