Unit 1 - The core principles of Chemistry Assessment: 1 ½ hour written exam in January (40%)


Unit 2 - Application of the core principles Assessment: 1 ½ hour written exam in June (40%)


Unit 3 - Chemistry laboratory skills Assessment: Internal assessment during the course (20%)


A2 Units Unit 4 - General principles of Chemistry Assessment: 1 hour 40 mins written exam in January (40%)


Unit 5 - General principles of Chemistry II Assessment: 1 hour 40 mins written exam in June (40%)


Unit 6 - Chemistry laboratory skills II Assessment: Internal assessment during the course (20%)


Students will be provided with appropriate textbooks.
