AS/A2 LEVEL IN APPLIED BUSINESS One Year AS-Level Course or Full Two Year A-Level Course

Why Study Applied Business?

This is a broad based qualification which provides the opportunity for students to explore the world of business in a highly practical way. By adopting an investigative approach, students develop a range of skills while discovering the problems and opportunities faced by businesses. We will be offering a single award (one ‘A’ Level) as both a one year AS course or a full two year ‘A’ Level course. In order to study this subject you must have an interest in, and an awareness of the wider business world. You should be self motivated and able to work independently. This is because this qualification includes the completion of substantial pieces of coursework and participation in a range of practical activities which will take place outside the classroom.

Students who achieve an A Level in Business can expect to go onto University to study a wide range of degree subjects or to work in many diverse industries.
