LaNao have a different approach. Not only do we manage bookings, we also manage the changeover cleaning and laundry. There are no extra charges as it is fully inclusive within the rental prices that guests pay. LaNao’s charges are competitive and include personal ‘meet and greet ‘ of guests. We recognise that security is vital and to this end we do not use key safes.
At LaNao we are currently marketing a significant and growing portfolio of properties for sale. We are happy to report that the residential sales market is continuing to improve. However, we are also realistic that we’re not at the levels of 5 years ago and the market has some way to go. As a result of this, we’ve been encouraging our vendors to address the significant rise in interest for properties to rent either as a short holiday rental or on a long term basis.
The demand for quality properties for a long term rental of 6 to 11 months, or for holiday rentals particularly for the months of May to September, has increased dramatically and subsequently we seeking more properties for the 2012 season to meet the demand.
Many of our vendors have considered letting their property through the summer period but were worried how this could be managed in their absence.
LaNao offers a total package. Many of the other letting agents in the area only offer a booking service as they do not want the responsibility of cleaning the property, dealing with laundry or any small maintenance problems.
So, if you are tired of waiting for your property to sell, exhausted by the low offers you are receiving and you were considering letting your property through the 2012 summer season or even just July and August, then please contact us. Weekly rents for a 3 bedroom villa with a private pool and air conditioning average around 1000€ per week in high season. Our only requirements are that your property is in good order, has the use of a swimming pool, has air conditioning to bedrooms and some British TV if possible.

Vega Baja Garden Club Update
The new year for the garden club starts on 6th February with a talk by club members Harry and Anna Van Dijk entitled “Winter flowering plants”. This should be an interesting talk as Anna and Harry are very experienced gardeners and always bring along a selection of plants to illustrate their talk.
On February 13th, there’s a lunch at ‘Elvira’s’ in San Luis for club members so make sure that your name is on the list!
The December meeting was the usual ‘Quiz and Nibbles’ afternoon with a huge amount of food brought by all the club members. Margot Gay set the quiz again and even had some of the regular quiz goers flummoxed as the winning team only managed 82 points out of a possible 125! Several people brought along gifts to be raffled for club funds to help towards outings in the coming year, and everyone had a good time.
Don’t forget… next meeting is Monday February 6th from 2-4pm at Los Rosales restaurant on the Lemon Tree Road, Guardamar. New members are always welcome.
