Neighbourhood Watch Advice. Reporting A Crime In Operation.

When you see a crime taking place you should immediately phone 112.

The show’s comperes are Jenny Renn and Barry Britten, both of whom will be adding their own brands of comedy to what is promised to be a real variety show of singing, dancing, comedy and more. Details of more acts will be released soon.

25% of the gross ticket sales are guaranteed to go directly to the charity, with tickets priced at 12

euros. The performance will begin at 8pm with the doors opening at 7.30pm.

Tickets can be booked by telephone on 96 558 1483 or online at www.philipashley.com, or can be purchased from

Margaret & Elena’s Book & Card shop in the Av.Gabriel Miro, Calpe.

An operator will answer and if you ask to speak to an English speaking operator you will be transferred immediately and you can then report your crime in your own language with confidence. You will need to be able to give as much information as possible, i.e. where the crime is taking place, descriptions of criminals and if they are using a car, the make, colour and number. The more information you can give the more chance there is of catching the criminals. It is possible for the police to trace a car using only a part number, so any information can be valuable.

I have used this emergency number on a number of occasions and have had no problems and the reactions of the police and Guardia attending the scene of crime have usually been within 10 minutes of my call. The emergency number 112 should only be used to report a crime in operation not a crime that has already occurred. You should report this crime as soon as possible to your local NHW Coordinator details of which can be found on the website www.nhwinspain.com, and to the Guardia Civil to make a denuncia.

The use of these simple steps will help make the area you live in safer and more secure.

Jan Price Secretary NHW, Torrevieja
