“I REMEMBER WHEN” In March, the Friends of the


Library in Carshalton (FROLIC) are hoping to start a group who are interested in just reminiscing. Each month we will choose a different topic like shopping,


hobbies, holidays, weddings, jobs, schooldays, etc etc. If you are

On Saturday 24th March at 7.30pm at St. Andrew’s URC, Northey Avenue, Cheam,


Sutton Symphony Orchestra present an attractive programme of well-loved music, opening with


Schubert’s Rosamunde Overture and including Brahms’ Variations on a theme by Haydn


(St.Anthony chorale). Derryck Nasib, a young talented


player with the orchestra, will be the soloist


in Mozart’s 2nd Horn Concerto and the concert concludes with Schumann’s Symphony No. 3


“Rhenish”. Tickets at £10.00 (£8.00 concessions) are available from
