Pondering Relaxation W
hile to some it may seem that relax- ing is a luxury at Eat Love Savor Maga-
zine, we think of it more as a necessity. It feels luxurious to relax, but that does not mean that it is a strictly luxurious experience. Before we all got busy with full lives, became do-ers and filled our days from morning to night with ac- tivities, lounging was a valued pass time.
t was revered for its nurturing qualities for chil- dren, for bringing people together, for encour-
aging us to read, for stimulating creative thought, for reducing blood pressure and easing stress, for putting smiles on people’s faces, for allow- ing oneself to take in and savor the moments.
ext time you think you can squeeze in just one more thing into your day, why not re-
place a things or two with relaxing instead? BY ANGELA TUNNER
