Protection A CELL phone accessories manufacturer Clear Protector, is entering the fl ea market arena with a screen protector claimed to be superior to all others in the market. According to Greg Norris, manager of ClearProtector.com, “A lot of the protectors you see in the market come in a pack of fi ve, which are all used in a month or two. Our product has a lifetime warranty. Apply it once, and the product is there for life.” The screen protector, made from a


military grade polyurethane and applied when wet, makes the device it covers virtually scratch-proof. The product is available for multiple applications such as cameras, cell phones, laptops and tablet computers. As tablets and smartphones become more popular, the business continues to grow. “Business has been exploding, with more and more demand as more products are being released,” says Norris. Clear Protector and its products seem to be a natural fi t for the fl ea market. “We’re just breaking into the market,” Norris says, but he is optimistic. “Cell phone accessories are doing well at fl ea markets. A cell phone, something that virtually everyone has, may be in a pocket or purse at the fl ea market,” making the product a great impulse buy. The fi nancials are good too, Norris claims. “It should move. Vendors should be able to make some money off of it with good margins,” he notes. Norris also mentioned that the product’s excellent packaging is attractive and theft resistant. ■
