DVD RELEASES /// Beavis and Butt-Head, “America’s favorite culture critics,” triumphantly returned to MTV in 2011 with a modern twist. In the ‘90s the duo solely ripped on music videos, the new episodes blast on YouTube videos and reality television, while also taking aim at fart-knockers like Lady Gaga. The latest season, Beavis & Butthead: Vol. 4, lands in stores February 14 (yup, that’s Valentine’s Day), so you can buy this 12-episode, two-disc DVD or Bluray package for that special butt-munch in your life … If potty-mouthed cartoons aren’t gross

enough for you, The Human Centipede II slithers into stores February 14, also. This is the follow up to the original 2009 film that shows a highly deranged man sowing innocent victims together in a horrifically uncomfortable manner. The special features include an interview with director Tom Six, and cast commentary … The hunky-vampire series Twilight has

yet another installment hitting stores this month. Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part 1 arrives Feb. 11 – all three main cast members, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, reprise their roles. As of January the film had grossed over $659 mil- lion worldwide.

NATIONAL CD RELEASES /// Of Montreal has been churning out psychedelic-tinged twee and electronic-pop tunes since frontman Kevin Barnes formed

the band back in 1996. The Athens-based group is getting set to drop its 11th album, Paralytic Stalks, February 10 via Polyvinyl Records. According to a release, the new album “at times resembles modern classical with its intricate compositions, while at oth- ers echoes of neo-prog, pseudo-country, and 60s pop can be heard” … The late comedian Patrice O’Neal had

become known for his stand-up, appearances on a number of radio shows, NBC’s The Office, and a few Comedy Central Roasts. After passing away back in November, from complications stemming from a stroke, a new CD of material was quickly compiled and will be released February 7

on BSeen Media. The comedy album, Mr. P, contains un-released bits of his signature cutting-edge comedy. O’Neal’s real-life struggles with diabetes would often show up in his comedic bits: “See, I’ve got to lose weight now to stay alive, and that’s not enough motivation for me” … Paul McCartney also releases a new

album this month. The 69-year old former Beatle will drop Kisses on the Bottom, (yup, that’s what it’s called) February 7 on the Hear Music label. While one would assume the album title is a metaphor for something semi- vulgar, McCartney insists it’s a reference to the album’s opening track, “I’m Gonna Sit Right Down and Write Myself a Letter,” a 1935 hit by Fats Waller. The album is mostly covers of songs that inspired him as a child, but also contains two new jams.
