Wellbeing Crawley
Crawley Wellbeing is now three years old – and going from strength to strength.
The team consists of four Wellbeing Advisors who can talk to you about any wellbeing issue, a Health Professional and Partner Liaison Officer who works with professionals to increase their awareness of our services and how we can work together, and a Frail Elderly and Carers Specialist Wellbeing Advisor.
This role promotes services to carers and older people who may not be aware of what is available, as well as developing low level exercise opportunities.
Many of us have wellbeing issues that we don’t feel we can bother our doctors about. This could be weight, low mood, how to get fitter or you may want to find out about a stop smoking course, information on alcohol or maybe you are a carer and need support.
You can chat to us about any wellbeing issue you have: Healthy weight
Would you like to be a healthy weight and need support? Apart from the highly successful GP referral Weight Off Workshop (WOW), did you know that if you do not meet the criteria for WOW you can make a free appointment with a Wellbeing Advisor who can set you on the road to a healthier weight?
Healthy eating
Would you like some guidance on what makes a healthy diet? Fitness
Would you like, or do you need, to improve your general fitness? There are a range of options available from dancing and walking to gym based exercises. We can try to help you find an activity that you enjoy. Exercising doesn’t have to involve ‘pounding the streets’ or have the word ‘aerobics’ in it! Exercising isn’t only for the young and fit and can be fun!
Low mood
There are options available that can help. This could be a course to help overcome depression or anxiety or joining an exercise class or walking group. To find out more contact us.
Other topics people come to us for include health checks, stop smoking, reducing alcohol, fuel poverty and sexual health.

We are based at K2 Crawley, but can often be seen at the Bewbush Centre and other local venues.
Our Outreach Advisor works out in the community, either in The Foyer, Crawley Hospital or supporting a community event or health campaign. If you would like us to promote health and wellbeing at an event please contact us.
If we don’t hear from you before, come along to meet our team at our annual open day on Wednesday February 22 from 10.30am-2.30pm.
