Magic Tree House Adventures A with the Fletcher Free Library THEATER / READING / CREATIVE ARTS Climb inside the tree house and get whisked away for the adventure of a lifetime! Based on Annie and Jack’s journeys in the popular children’s series, we take thrilling trips through time and space—on pirate ships, elephants’ backs, and even rockets to outer space. Encouraged to let their imaginations take flight, children use drama and movement to discover a new world every day.

Spy School for Drama Detectives THEATER / CRITICAL THINKING
Join our team of super sleuths as we search for clues and discover the secrets behind acting and theater along the way. Go undercover to track down villains, decode top secret messages, and use our special Flynn clearance to investigate crime scenes all around the theater. There’s mysterious mayhem going on, but our gumshoes are sure to crack the case!

The Cat in the Hat and Seuss on the Loose! THEATER / COSTUMES / READING There are giggles galore in this week of theatrical fun, infused with the boundless positive energy of Dr. Seuss and that mischievous Cat. Campers devise their own zany characters and kooky costumes based on the Doctor’s beloved stories and rhymes, and then set off on wild, dramatic adventures. We catch fish (one, two, red, or blue!), visit the Lorax, join the Circus McGurkus, and much more. Campers share some favorite escapades with family and friends at week’s end.

The Magic School Bus with the ECHO Center THEATER / SCIENCE / READING Ms. Frizzle and her Magic School Bus have landed at the Flynn! Hop on and ride, dive, and fly with her to recreate some of the dramatic and scientific adventures from Joanna Cole’s inventive book series. We visit the ECHO Center for some real-life scientific discovery of our own, and transform our knowledge into dramatized adventures as we imagine travelling inside of the wondrous things we’ve seen. Family and friends can witness one of our trips on Friday.

Rainbow Magic Fairy Ballet DANCE / READING / CREATIVE ARTS Bethany the Ballet Fairy is ready to dance! Are you? Tales of fairies inspire our adventures
from the Rainbow Magic Fairies, to the fairies in classic ballets like Les Sylphides. Campers take a short ballet lesson each day, read fairy stories as a group, and then create their own dances based on their favorite fairy characters. A special studio performance, complete with costumes and wings, is shared with family and friends at week’s end.

Muppets & Puppets at Shelburne Farms THEATER / PUPPETRY Join Kermit, Piggy, Gonzo, and Animal for a week of puppetry fun at Shelburne Farms. Campers create their own whimsical puppets inspired by their favorite Muppets, learn the principles of bringing a Muppet to life, visit farm animals for live-action comparison, and develop a furry dramatic performance for family and friends on Friday. It’s not easy being green, but it sure is fun!
