Perfect to display video images and animated graphics on staged shows, TV studios and other commercial and entertainment applications, Chauvet MVP Series consists of three panels, aptly named by their pixel pitch: MVP 37.5, MVP 18 and MVP 12. All three panels employ tri-coloured SMD LEDs, which provide better resolution and wider viewing angles, and include Neutrik powerCON and etherCON power and data connectors. The semi-transparent, lightweight panels measuring 600mm by 600mm and feature a breathable, flow-through design well suited for temporary outdoor installations. Additionally, all three modular video panels share the same mounting hardware and technology platform and interlock to form a single wall of mixed resolutions. This offers great flexibility for a designer to access several different pixel pitches within one interlocked wall of panels.

Christie’s Roadie HD+35K is a large venue HD digital projector. Producing 32,500 ANSI lumens (35,000 centre) lumens, it features Christie’s unique, flexible split-body design with separate switching lamp ballast and built-in portrait capabilities.The 3-chip DLP Christie Roadie HD+35K was used most recently at Lyon’s Fete des Luminaires by VLS, who managed the technical services and projection to create the most ambitious presentation in Lyon this year. Marie-Jeanne Gauthé (Light Motif) returned to the Place des Terreaux with a show entitled Transe Nocturne, in which the creatures of the Bartholdi Fountain undertook a night-time escape and indulged in a mad dance on the walls of the Place des Terreaux. Transe Nocturne, received this year’s Fête des Lumières Partners Club Trophy. Her 2009 piece entitled Jouons avec le temps also earned her that year’s Partners Trophy, awarded by the City of Lyon.
