permanent exhibition showcasing 50 large-scale exhibits and experiments in an

environment where guests of all ages can explore the physics of light and the science behind power- ful forces of nature. These interactive experiments include a 40-foot tall tornado of swirling vapor and light, a 20’ diameter spinning avalanche disk, a 10’ x 10' heliostat and ripple tanks suspended 20’ off the floor and illuminated from the ceiling to project the patterns onto guests below.

“Lighting designers [on the panel] become enthralled children looking at the pictures of this project,” stated one judge. “Prisms, subtractive color mixing, lens effects, particles or waves? We got downright dizzy imagining ourselves in this playground. The design team has masterfully applied their skills as technicians of light in this theatrical and artistic project.”
