Welcome to the 28th Annual IALD International Lighting Design Awards.
The IALD International Lighting Design Awards is our signature opportunity to elevate the stature of the lighting design profession on an annual basis. In recognizing the best of the year’s architectural lighting design, we raise the profile of all practicing lighting designers as well as that of the profession as a whole. Each year we recognize projects that push the boundaries of design; projects that
redefine what we are capable of creating with our unique medium – light.
Each stunning and imaginative project among this year’s award winners clearly demonstrates outstanding design and required close and collaborative coordination with a project team and/or client. Every time a lighting design team wins an award it means the entire collaboration wins. Each architect, interior designer, engineer or client you influence with your professionalism and expertise builds further confidence in and support of our profession. So I extend both my congratulations and my thanks to you for your hard work in helping IALD achieve its commitment to raising the profile of the profession of architectural lighting design.
We are pleased to continue our long-standing partnership with the IALD Education Trust, presenting these awards concurrent with the annual IALD Education Trust Benefit Dinner, this year held in the Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA.
