THE MANKAR ULV SPRAYING SYSTEM
ALS are pleased to introduce ‘Ultra Low Volume’ spraying technology from Germany and Holland where pesticide use has been strictly limited, in order to meet new EU environmental standards that will soon require greatly reduced use of pesticides in public areas.
The Mankar ULV system is highly cost effective compared to using knapsack sprayers or CDA lances. The initial cost of a Mankar lance can be recovered in labour hours saved and reduced herbicide used in less than one month for any user engaged in continuous weed control work.
This technology has a number of benefits for the user and the environment:

The system ranges from a selection of hand operated shoulder supported hand lance sprayers to pedestrian wheeled sprayers to vehicle mounted sprayers that can be fitted on a variety of utility vehicles.
The system can apply Roundup ProBiactive 450 (systemic glyphosate) neat for use in a wide variety of amenity, urban or horticultural situations. Typically, application rates used are half normal rates, which because of technical innovations within the application technology give an even better kill.
