AMENITY XS - PART OF THE FARM XS SCHEME ALS offer a ‘closed loop’ plastic recycling scheme where at least 98% of all the plastics collected are recycled to produce new bags, chemical bottles, wheelie bins and drainage pipes. It is illegal to burn or bury plastic. It can be sent to landfill, but many of the plastics used will take over 100 years to decompose. Reduce your carbon footprint and work with ALS to dispose of your waste in an environmentally safe way by recycling into new products.
The Amenity Industry produces tens of thousands of tons of plastic waste, usually from fertiliser bags, chemical and fertiliser bottles, drums and tubs. Sign up to the Amenity XS scheme and we will work with you to make sure that your waste is recycled not dumped.
We charge a small annual membership fee based on the size of your facility and, with that, you receive a dumpy
bag to store your empty bags and containers plus full documentation, including a certificate of scheme membership.
There are a number of depots around the UK where you can take your plastic free of charge or, for a small fee, we will arrange collection periodically.
