Natural Solutions is a range of mostly organic products designed to give healthy plant growth and reclaim damaged soils without resource to artificial chemical (salt based) fertilisers and pesticides.
Natural Solutions creates and maintains a rich, diverse microflora in the soil, which naturally improves fertility and inhibits plant disease. All micro-organisms used in the Natural Solutions range are naturally occurring and harmless to humans and animals. None are genetically engineered. They include a very wide range of beneficial soil bacteria, antagonistic fungi and mycorrhizal fungi.
The organic based materials used provide plant life with everything needed for healthy growth and provide soil micro-organisms with everything needed to promote a healthy living soil, with beneficial effects on the environment.

MYCORRHIZAE
Mycorrhizae products are an important tool in ensuring plant success in a number of situations. Mycorrhizal fungi are a vital essential in root development, water and plant nutrient uptake by roots, but are frequently missing from new soils, compacted soils and growing media. Mycorrhizae physically improve soil structure around plant roots either by separating clay platelets or by clumping sand particles. They also contribute to plant health by supporting other beneficial soil organisms such as nutrient fixing bacteria and develop a natural zone of resistance to disease around the roots of plants. These products should always be used in certain situations where Mycorrhiza is lacking:
• In all construction sites where the soil has been disturbed and organic matter is probably inadequate
• In all sterile media conditions, where the plants going in haven’t been exposed to Mycorrhiza. This is mostly when potting up in the nursery
• Wherever expensive trees and ornamentals are stressed, Mycorrhizal inoculation is a sensible insurance policy. Senescent oaks and maples, chlorotic oaks and conifers, early leaf drop due to drought conditions, root damage due to trenching near urban trees... these are all situations where Mycorrhiza can be added at a modest cost compared to replacement value of the trees
• Dryer and warmer summers seems to be the normal weather cycle for us these days. Mycorrhiza can help increase the water uptake of plants so you escape the two choices of brown plants or continual watering
