NOW WITH SPECIFIC OFF-LABEL APPROVAL FOR ORNAMENTAL SHRUB BEDS (20102995)
RONSTAR 2G is a granular herbicide which contains the active ingredient oxadiazon. This broad-spectrum herbicide will control most annual broad leaf weeds and grasses.
Ronstar 2G is created as a granule to give pre-emergence residual control of the weeds, while offering maximum levels of crop safety.
How Ronstar 2G works
When Ronstar 2G is applied to moist soil, it dissolves, which forms an invisible barrier against germinating weeds. As weed seeds germinate and grow emerge up through the soil surface, they pick up the herbicide through the shoots and die. Weed control should be effective for up to 3 months.
There is no uptake of herbicide via the roots and it is this property of RONSTAR 2G that ensures safety to the plant.
How to use Ronstar 2G Application rate is 1kg per 100m maximum. The total dose is
1.5kg per 100m (equivalent to 150kg per Ha). Ensure no granules have lodged in the foliage, as this could result in scorch. For better coverage apply the granules, at half rate in opposite directions, for example in a cross pattern.
To promote uptake of herbicide by the weed seedlings the soil should be relatively moist.
After application make sure not to disturb the soil surface in order to maintain the residual barrier of herbicide. Do not mix the granules into the soil. Prior to use, operators require a copy of SOLA. Weeds Controlled Weed species controlled include the following:
Annual Meadow Grass, Annual Nettle, Black-bindweed, Black Nightshade, Charlock, Cleavers, Corn Spurrey, Corn Poppy, Docks (from seed), Fat Hen, Forget-me-not, Fumitory, Groundsel, Hairy Bitter-cress, Italian Ryegrass, Knotgrass, Liverwort (partial control), Mayweed (some species), Orache, Oxalis Spp, Red Deadnettle, Redshank, Runch (Wild Radish), Scarlet Pimpernel, Shepherds Purse, Small Nettle, Smooth Meadow Grass, Sowthistles, Speedwells, Sun Spurge, Willowherb (from seed) and Wild Oat.

Kerb is a pre or post-emergence residual herbicide for the control of grasses and broadleaf weeds in forestry and amenity plantings. Kerb can be used on all ornamental trees, shrubs and roses. Kerb is especially useful for the control of weed growth around trees, shrubs and roses along fence lines, hedge lines and walls, where mowing can be difficult. Kerb is mobile in the soil profile and therefore the best results will be achieved when applying in cooler conditions. Usually this will be between October and February. Only one application of Kerb can be made in the season.
Application Rate Granules: 3.8g/m2 treated hectare). Ensure even application.
