Thanks to The Calgary Foundation’s generous grant of $39,000, the Museum is undertaking a D eerh project into its own collection.

Over the years, things have been donated, but we do not necessarily know why they are important to the community and town’s history. For instance, where would someone have bought certain items? Where were they made? Who would use them? Over the next nine months, the Museum will look into answering these questions. But we do need your help!


If you are interested in trying to identify artifacts, please contact our Collections Manager, Amanda Sittrop, for further details at collections@cmags.org.


Once everything is researched, we will be holding an exhibition featuring all these objects. Be on the lookout for the exhibit dates in the next newsletter!
