to a store like ABC & Toy Zone where they can really touch everything. “The Sensory Center is one of the many
unique things that we offer,” says manager Kirst- en Dodds. “We’ve got toys and activities that are tactile, auditory and perfect for kids with special needs.” Younger children especially dig the free Storytime with hand-clapping music. Known as a teacher destination with its
array of fixings for bulletin boards and re- source books, the store is always hopping with new trends.

they could possibly want? How about a giant yo-yo called a Diablo, a Gyro Ring that spins faster and longer the more you practice or maybe a stomp rocket? Tracy Sonnier, manager of Air Traffic Kites
and Games at Apache Mall, is often juggling, balancing, catapulting or spinning random items in the store as shoppers build up the courage to attempt the same feats. “We know that people like to try things
before they buy them,” says Sonnier. “Many of our products are out as demos and kids es- pecially love to come in and check things out. We’ve got a lot of toys that focus on hand-eye coordination to keep kids active and get them away from so many video games.” If you’re a juggler or have aspirations of
being one, Air Traffic will hook you up with everything you need. Avid kite flyers, Frisbee golfers and bean bag gamers will also discover must-haves.
