 Work with Pembrokeshire Greenways, Pembrokeshire County Council, Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority, Sustrans, Countryside Council Wales, PLANED and Pembrokeshire Access Group to pursue the Sustainable Tourism Project of developing a ‘traffic free’ multi user wheelchair accessible trail from Fishguard through the Gwaun Valley (Llanychaer to Cilrhedyn).


 Work with PACTO to investigate effective ways to improve local transport e.g.:


 Publicising the recently-commenced PVT minibus to young and old residents as well as community groups. 


Raising awareness of the Preseli Green Dragon Bus summer service to locals and visitors.





Explore possibilities for car sharing e.g. for workers in Haverfordwest/Fishguard.


Implementation/Working Groups


In order that the Action Plan can be progressed effectively it is proposed that a Community Forum be formed. Working groups could progress the proposals – reporting back to the whole Community Forum – and in consultation with the Town Council to liaise with relevant providers e.g. the Highway Authority.

Housing & Services. Transport, Traffic & Highways It is important that the Groups:


 Work within the agreed Action Plan and report to a Community Forum


 Work with existing groups, including the Town Council and agencies.


 Meet on a regular basis – at least four times a year.  Use the Action Plan as a working document and update it as
