Chamber of Trade town website, which can be viewed at www.visit-fishguard.org.uk (a new website is currently under construction). There is also a very useful free guide to Fishguard, Goodwick and North Pembrokeshire which features businesses, walks, accommodation and history. The guide is produced every year and has now been going for 17 years and is available from the Tourist Information Office. Residents would like to complement this guide by developing a local map on a panel in the town centre featuring each of the businesses.

Fishguard and Goodwick have both done well in expanding the tourism season by developing their festivals and events. The town is famous for its International Music Festival and Lions Fun Day at the end of July, Folk Festival in May and Civic Week, Aberjazz, Round Table Fishguard And Goodwick Carnival, Fishguard Show and Fishguard & Goodwick August Festival in August, as well as New Year’s Eve Street Festival.
