CARING FOR A CHILD WITH DIABETES IS A 24 / 7 JOB.

SO IS SEARCHING FOR A CURE FOR DIABETES.

For people like Hamish Campbell, caring for his diabetic daughter Isla is a 24 / 7 job. Which is why groups like Cellmates On The Run are bringing awareness and raising money through marathons to help fund diabetes research. The money raised by these runners is going to the Chicago Diabetes Project, a group of researchers from across three continents based at the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System with the common goal of finding a cure for diabetes. It won’t be easy, but through the work of groups like Cellmates On The Run, we’ll get there. At UI Health, we’re changing medicine. For good.
