Muscling up for an important mission
Mission Possible Kids at FirstChurch teaches children kindergarten thru fifth grade to share God‟s love thru mission.
In 2011, FirstChurch added GLOW Kids - Go Love Others in the World - to ex- tend this model to ages 3 thru pre-K.
MPKids and GLOW Kids conduct a variety of mission projects each month.
One popular annual mission is fundraising for the Muscular Dystrophy Associa- tion.

Last year FirstChurch MPKids raised $3,000 thru the MDA “Muscle Walk” at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.
This year they are also joining Plano Firefighters to “Fill the Boot” for MDA on Sunday, January 15.
But this year‟s efforts have taken on a significance much closer to home.
MPKids „agent‟ Brodie Falcone was recently diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy.
