Helen Kay Strain Anglin on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 in the Hillcrest Medical Center, of Waco among loving family and devoted friends. Viewing was held Friday, December 30, 2011 from 10:00 am - 8:00 pm. at the funeral home. Funeral Services were Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 1:00 PM in the First United Methodist Church, 203 North Canton Street, Mexia, TX 76667 with Rev. Vernon Busby and Elder H. V. Chambers, Sr. officiating. Interment was in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hwy 84 in Mexia.


Helen Kay Strain Anglin was


the third child born to Oscar, Sr. and Willie P. Strain and was born in Freestone County, Texas on October 29, 1959. She grew up in Mexia and graduated from Mexia High School where she excelled in sports, especially the area of Track and Field. She received a number of awards for excellence in this area. Helen was baptized in the


Alexander Chapel Primitive Baptist Church by Elder H. V. Chambers. Howard Anglin, Sr. and Helen


were married in Limestone County and to this union 2 children were born. She later started a future with Charles Nash. This relationship ended in her death. For more than 16 years, Helen


was employed by CENTEX ARC in Mexia. Kay was preceded in death by


her father: Oscar Strain, Sr; 2 sons:


Jarvus Canady and Raylon


Anglin and 1 sister: Phyllis Chambers. She will be missed especially


for her beautiful smile and her caring spirit. Belt Senter, 61, were held on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bowers Funeral Home in Teague. Rev. Alan Van Hooser officiated. Interment followed the services at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation was on Monday,


January 2, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Bowers Funeral Home. Mrs. Senter passed away at the


East Texas medical Center in Tyler after battling cancer. She was born in Lubbock, Texas


on August 3, 1950 to parents Jimmy & Bessie Mae Belt, and lived there until she married her husband of 25 years, Steven Senter and moved to Teague in 1985. Mrs. Senter loved to garden, Facebook; she loved her family and her animals. She was very proud of her four kids, her eleven grandkids and her four great-grandkids. Many people will remember her as the manager of Dairy Queen in Teague or Mexia from 1998 until retiring in 2009; or for her famous homemade fudge. Dale loved Teague; she loved her community and was well known and loved by everyone she met as a fun, loving and caring person. On August 30 of last year her and her husband, Steve, celebrated their 26th


wedding anniversary.


Mrs. Senter is survived by her husband, Steven Senter of Teague; children, Stephanie Graham of San Angelo, Amy Barlow & husband Wesley of Mexia, Toni Roach Auten & husband Chris of Ardmore, OK., and Ricky Senter of Teague; Grandchildren, Greg Graham & wife Sonia of San Angelo, Amanda Hall & husband Brandon of Fairfield, Tabatha Hill of Lake Jackson, Jessica Graham of San Angelo, Preston Senter of Oakwood, Jonathan Graham of San Angelo, Austin McNeill of Ardmore, OK., Kelsey Barlow of Mexia, Garrett Graham of San Angelo, Kalem Auten of Ardmore, OK., and Mallori McNeil of Ardmore, OK.; four great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by

He was born in Teague on March 17, 1957 and grew up in Teague and the surrounding area. Mr. Latham lived in Brenham for several years then returned to Teague and had recently moved

back to Brenham to be near his daughter and grandchildren. Mr. Latham served in the National Guard for twelve years from 1978 to 1990. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and drove a maintainer for Washington County for several years. Pat enjoyed fishing and spending time with his friends, but his favorite pastime was playing with his grandchildren whom he considered to be his pride and joy. Mr. Latham was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. He is survived by one daughter, Leslie Maya & husband Arturo and three grandchildren, Alexis Maya, Kayla Maya, and Marc Maya, all of Brenham; his mother, Nettie Latham of Buffalo; three brothers, Jimmy Latham & wife Carolyn of Dallas, Robert Latham & wife Margaret of Donie, and Joe Latham & wife June of McGregor; four sisters, Wenonah Ward & husband Powell (Butch) of Flo, Glenda Alford of Teague, Carolyn Brimhall & husband Karl of Buffalo, and Brenda Sue Armstrong & husband Craig of Benchley; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was a member of the Dew United Methodist Church in Dew and loved to play Domino’s, Crochet, Quilt, and spoil her grandchildren at every chance she had. She was a member of the Womens Auxillary of the VFW Post in Fairfield. She was preceded in death


by her parents, sisters Rose Whittington, Katie Whittington, brother Alfred Hagen, son Gary Wayne Whittington, and her husband Ben Lane Jr. in 2003.
