International Special Events Society Feasterville, PA December 14, 2011 - ISES Philadelphia spent the morning at the Brunswick Zone XL as part of a Team Building event. Some teams faced off against each other in Brunswick Zone XL’s state-of-the-art laser tag arena, while other teams competed in a contest to build the highest tower with assorted supplies and objects. “It was an impressive afternoon of event professional indi- viduals working together and overcoming obstacles for a common team goal,” stated ISES program and education director, Bob Mills.

HSMAI Ugly Sweater Bash
Philadelphia, PA December 14, 2011 - HSMAI hosted their holiday event, “Jingle Jam…An Ugly Holiday Sweater Bash” at the Crowne Plaza Philadelphia Downtown. Hoteliers, meeting planners and hospitality professionals were dressed in festive holiday attire….from candy cane sweaters to light-up ties to Santa hats and reindeer antlers.
The ballroom and pre-function spaces were decorated with festive lights and shimmery ornaments, while an inflatable snowman greeted guests and a giant gingerbread house also was on display.

Attendees arrived to the holiday sounds of Sound Choice DJs. Shutter Booth was on hand for anyone who wanted some fun snap- shots of themselves as a memento of the evening. Guest posed for pictures with elves, Mrs. Claus/Lady Gaga Claus and Father Christmas. Cupcakes Gourmet offered a vari- ety of cupcakes from which to choose.
This year, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) was on hand to collect donations for Philadelphia’s homeless pets.
