Starlux, a Doo- Wop-inspired hotel owned by the Moreys will be incorporated into the hotel, which will offer a combined 140 units and will be known as The Grand Wildwoodian. Slated to open in 2013, the hotel plans include a sixth-floor banquet facility, an indoor swimming pool and an outdoor swimming pool on three levels, plus a ground floor 124-seat restaurant. The hotel's design will reflect the distinctive- ness of the Starlux and other Doo-Wop motels known for their uniquely angular roofs and kidney-shaped pools.
The Morey Organization also expects to make design enhancements at two of their other properties, with plans to be fin- ished in the spring before next season.
