Swim 4 Fun - Swim 4 Health - Swim 4 Life
The Aquatic Safety Team strives to provide a safe, fun, and creative experience for guests of all ages. The Learn to Swim program is structured around the needs of each class. Participants are placed in skill appropriate classes to encourage proper progression through the program. Instructors go through intense training each month to ensure that their teaching skills are constantly being perfected. Swim Lesson Notes: 1. Participants are required to register for their age appropriate class. 2. All participants entering the water must wear a swim suit and follow the swim attire policy. 3. Children that are not yet toilet trained are required to wear a swim diaper. 4. Soap showers are required by all participants prior to entering the water. 5. Parents are required to stay in the facility during lessons either in the aquatic center or on the benches in the hallway. 6. Lesson Cancellations: For all swim lessons, no make-up classes will be available for classes cancelled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances. 7. No Refunds and make-up classes will be granted for participants that are unable to attend a class. 8. Withdrawals from class will be granted up to 7 days prior to the start of class, all requests following that date will require a doctor’s note. (No class: Apr 8-13, May 28, Jun 16-17, Jul 4)
Early Bird registration for these classes begins online February 8th! *Please Note that all winter classes are currently open for registration. Winter 2 classes begin Feb. 19th.

Did You Know… You can burn up to 250 calories doing 30 minutes of water walking. Join us Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7-9am and Tuesday and Thursday 6-7pm as we walk the weight off in the aquatic center river.

Swim Lesson Levels: Classes for individuals 4 and up are broken up in to smaller groups based on skill level. The participants will work through a progressive set of skills that promote comfort in the water and successful stroke development. The first day of lessons you will receive a welcome form that will list out the skills that will be covered in the session. As the session progresses the goals for accomplishing each level will be listed on the weekly activity sheets. The levels include:
