After finishing your round, you will head to the Summit for a gourmet strolling dinner with unique wine pairings. A Sommelier will be on-site. Prizes are awarded to the top 4 teams. Senior Golf League at Pheasant Run Fee: $225 for season (15 weeks) / $25 deposit required to register Ages: 55+ Date: League play begins May 17 Calling all senior golfers! Canton Leisure Services wants to see you on the fairway. Enjoy the best that the game of golf has to offer. Pheasant Run’s senior league will feature two-player teams competing for weekly prizes and awards. You can either select your partner or we can find a partner for you. A year end banquet will take place where the first place team will receive free entry into the 2013 program. Handicap index is not required. Participants will enjoy 9 holes weekly w/ golf cart. Duration: 4 day clinic for 1 hour each day Equipment Needed: Fairway wood, 8 iron, pitching wedge, putter This program is designed to give beginners an understanding of the game and a chance to begin their golfing careers. Students will experience a fun and exciting learning environment while working with experienced professionals. All students will have the chance at the end of each day to put what they have learned into practice. Awards and prizes will be handed out to all participants. Students will learn such basics as: the grip; Set-up; Swing fundamentals; Short game; Rules; Etiquette; and Safety. Students will be grouped by age into 1 hour time frames. Pheasant Run Junior Golf Academy Fee: $199 Age: 10-16 Duration: 5 Weeks 1 Day per week (Wednesday) Students will be grouped by age Experience Required: Junior golfers should have a basic understanding in golf and have had at least one year of on course experience or have successfully completed the Junior Camp. Equipment Needed: Fairway wood, 8 iron, pitching wedge, putter This program is a once a week program that runs for five consecutive weeks for Juniors consisting of lessons, range time, and 9 holes played on Pheasant Run’s North and South courses. Junior golfers of all levels are welcome to join. The primary goal of the junior golf program is to introduce and instruct juniors in the fundamental techniques of pitching, putting, chipping, and the full swing. This Program will also cover safety, etiquette, course management and proper pace of play. Lunch is provided each session. Junior golfers will also receive a membership card that will allow them to use the practice facility and golf course at no charge with a paying adult. Registration begins April 1st. Located on Lotz Road just north of Michigan Ave., Fellows Creek Golf Club boasts 27 holes over three par 36 9-hole courses. Each 9 hole course layout is over 3,200 yards in length. The golf club also features a restaurant/ banquet facility available for our golf outing or intimate occasion event. The Pro-Shop is stocked for your golf equipment needs. Individual and group golf lessons are also available.
