Hoop Shoot Competition Fee: Free Sat, Feb 25 Ages: 8 - 15yrs Canton Leisure Services is sponsoring the 2012 Hoop Shoot basketball skills competition. This event is FREE to the community for boys and girls ages 8-15 years old. Players will have 60 seconds to score points from various locations on the court. Certificates and ribbons will be awarded to winners. Check-in begins at 8:30am with contests starting at 9am. Participants may pre-register or on-site the day of the event. Youth 3 on 3 Basketball Tourney Fee:$52.00 Sat, Feb 25 Ages: Grade 3- 8 Location: Gymnasium (east/west) The tourney will begin following the Youth Hoop Shoot Competition. Boys and girls divisions will be set up for grades 3-4, 5-6, and 7-8. Awards will be given to the division winners and runner-up. All games will be officiated and teams will be guaranteed 2 games. 4 players will be allowed per roster. ONLY ONE REPRESENTITIVE FROM A TEAM IS NEEDED TO REGISTER THE PLAYERS. Pitch Hit & Run Fee: Free April 21 Ages: 7 - 14yrs Canton Leisure Services is sponsoring the FREE Aquafina Pitch, Hit and Run competition. Registration will begin at 9:00am with the event beginning at 9:30am. No metal spikes are allowed. Bats and balls will be provided. Players will be competing in three contests: pitching, hitting and running the bases. First place will qualify to come on to the sectional competition. Senior Golf League/Tues Fee: $13.00 Apr 24 - Aug 7 Ages: 55+ Canton Senior Golf League is now form- ing for the 2012 season. All league play takes place at Fellow's Creek Golf Club. Play begins April 24 and runs for 16 weeks. All skill levels are welcome to play in this league which concludes with a luncheon and awards on the last day of play.
