9th Annual Backyard Beats Concert Series Local bands hit the streets and perform right in your backyard in this popular outreach concert series. Concerts are typically held in the scheduled neighborhood’s shared green space or park. The music is family-friendly, providing a great opportunity to better get to know your neighbors! “Ultimate Block Party” Neighborhood Challenge Activities Join us each Monday and earn points for your neighborhood by participating in a different activity each week. Activities may include a sidewalk chalk art contest for various age groups, Health & Wellness demos, trivia, interactive play, a historical hike, and of course the Annual Ice Cream Social, where we will announce the winner of the Ultimate Block Party!

C.A.C. (Summer Playground Program)

Fee: $20 (Residents only) Jun 18 - Aug 3 Ages: 5 – 15 yrs The Canton Activity Crew is back again for another memorable summer with Canton’s kids! The one- time registration fee for this summer will be $20 per child or a max of $50 per family. Locations, dates and times will be available at beginning June 1.

Family Camp Out/Movie Night Jul 13 & 14

Ages: All Ages

If you haven’t been a part of this awesome family event in the past, you’re missing out! Families are invited to set up tents around the amphitheater and enjoy a movie at dusk. There will be plenty to do before the movie, including games, activities, and entertainment for the entire family beginning at 6pm. The $15 camping fee must be paid on site the day of the event. If you plan on coming to the event and not stay night, there will be a $5 fee per person to take part in the evening’s activities. Canoeing on Friday and a new pancake breakfast on Saturday morning will be available for a nominal fee. Tent set- up begins at noon on Friday, July 16. Heritage Park 12:00pm - 11:00am

Celebrate National Recreation and Parks Month with a community tradition! Enjoy our old-fashioned price for a delicious ice cream and toppings bar served up in the kitchen of the historic Cherry Hill School. Then find a shady spot on the lawn for the tuneful melodies of the Canton Concert Band. Pre- registration is not necessary. Supplies are limited.
