ach year, the NYHS administration and faculty nominate students for Merit Awards in a variety of academic and extracurricular fields. Selected students show outstanding achievement, interest


and effort in their fields. Each award is sponsored by a generous donor for a $2600 gift to NYHS. Awards can be sponsored in honor or in memory of a loved one. We celebrate our students’ achievements with our annual award ceremony and reception. This is a wonderful opportunity for sponsors and the student award recipients to meet and get to know one another.
