Harbour Team W

eymouth Harbour staff are on hand and happy to assist with all of your berthing enquiries.

Over the last 18 months staff have worked enthusiastically

to get us to the stage where we can invite boat owners to visit Weymouth and Portland for the Games periods. Improvements have been made to facilities around the harbour that can benefit visitors not only during 2012 but for many years to come. Two teams operate under the Harbour Master, Peter Mole: the

Berthing Office Team looks after the visiting yachts/rallies, maintenance and the harbour facilities, and the Administration Team looks after the annual mooring customers, website, Harbour Guide and finances. Also on hand to assist you with any enquiries are our seasonal staff members, who work within the Berthing Office through the busy summer months.

In 2011 Weymouth & Portland Borough Council and West

Dorset District Council joined services to form a partnership. This provided us with the opportunity to include information on West Bay and Lyme Regis Harbours which you will find in the ‘Heading West’ section of the guide. If you would like to contact a member of our team, you can

contact us through our website http://harbour.weymouth.gov.uk via email b.office3@westdorset-weymouth.gov.uk or by calling 01305 838423. You can also keep up to date with Weymouth Harbour and the

Harbour Team on our Facebook page; Weymouth & Portland Borough Council – Harbour.
