PAGE 12 Teambuilding Games (Year Round)


Teambuilding games can be a great addition to your climbing or ropes course experience, or they can stand alone as activities for your group. We have teambuilding games and initiatives for ages 6 through adults.


Teambuilding requirements: • Each group must attend with a minimum of 2 adult leaders • Teambuilding activities are led by Base Camp Guides


Teambuilding Fees:


• $5/participant for each hour of teambuilding (minimum 12 partici pants)


• $3/participant for each hour of teambuilding in addition to climb ing wall or ropes course (minimum is 6 participants) Deposit:


50% is due at time of reservation. Balance is due upon arrival at camp. Space Shuttle Simulator (Indoor-Year Round)


Description The Space Simulator at Base Camp is one of only eight in the country, and the only simulator like it in the Midwest! 4th graders all the way to adults will benefit from its teambuilding and problem solving lessons in a real ¾ sized model of a space shuttle cockpit. The simulator program takes up more time than other activities, and can accommodate 6 people in a 1-hour period. This activity is best added to another Base Camp or group led activity (merit badge work).


Requirements & Fees Space Shuttle Simulator Requirements


• Each group must attend with a minimum of 2 adults


• The simulator must be staffed by a trained ‘flight instructor’ (provided by Base Camp Staff or group leadership) Shuttle Simulator Fees:


(The Shuttle Simulator is time intensive, if your group has more than 6 participants, sign up for more than one time block)


• $72 per 1-hour block when staffed by a Base Camp Guide (maximum of 6 participants)


• $48 per 1-hour block when group provides own shuttle instructor (Training required)


Deposit: 50% is due at time of reservation. Balance is due upon arrival at camp.
