Basketball will begin January 21 on Saturdays at 9:00, 10:00 or 11:00am CoEd Session. Fee is $27.00 before deadline. Programs meet at the Recreation Center. 3rd & 4th grade girl’s basketball


will begin January 21 and is played on Saturdays at 9:00am. Kids will meet for an hour and 25 minutes for practicing and games. Fee is $32.00 before deadline. Program is held at Lincoln Elementary. 5th & 6th grade girl’s basketball


will begin January 21 and is played on Saturdays at 10:30am. Kids will meet for an hour and 25 minutes for practicing and games. Fee is $32.00 before deadline. Program is held at Lincoln Elementary. 5th & 6th grade boy’s basketball

begins Tuesday, January 17 when all players report to the practice gym site. Teams will practice on Mondays and/or Tuesdays at the school site registered for starting at 4:00pm or 5:00pm. Games are played on Thursday evenings at Peet or Holmes Jr. High schools. Fee is $37.00 before deadline.

Sack Lunch Days


Age: K - 4th Grade Dates: January 16, February 3 February 20 (if no CF school) March 2 , March 29, March 30, April 13 (if no CF school)


Times: 8:00am – 4:00pm Location: Cedar Falls Recreation Center Fee: $20.00 per child/day


Bring a sack lunch and enjoy a day full of activities on these scheduled days off from school. This day will be supervised with sports, crafts, movies and walking trips. Program is limited in size, pre- registration is necessary.


Indoor Park

age children and their parents may come to the


Cedar Falls Recreation Center on Tuesday, & Thursday from 9:00am-2:00pm January 10 – March 29 to use indoor play park equipment during the winter months. Cost is $2.50 per child or pay for the entire session for $30.00. Children must be accompanied by an adult.


Birthday Party


Birthday packages are a great birthday idea offered through Cedar Falls Recreation. Various themes to choose from, just phone the Recreation Center. Parties are available to book on most Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Reservations should be made three weeks prior to date of party. Call 273- 8636 now to see if the date you are interested in is available.


 $125.00 Birthday package includes: cake, punch, paper products and a party coordinator - birthday child and 15 friends


 $115.00 Birthday package includes: cake, punch and room rental - limit 20 kids


*Add a $25.00 pizza package to any party, includes: 3 large pizzas


Beginner Karate


Karate will begin January 10


for kids 5 – 12. Registration will be taken at the Recreation Center, Classes held at Seishen Ryu Karate Club. Fee is $28.00 and meets on Tuesdays & Thursdays from (7-12 year olds) 4:15pm – 5:00pm & (5 & 6 year olds) 5:00 – 5:30pm Introduce your child to the martial arts.
