Judy Manley, Publicity Christmas was happier for a number of

Sun Lakes residents through the combined efforts of the Community Assistance Program and Neighbors Who Care. Neighbors Who Care provided wish lists

for 13 of their clients who would benefi t from special attention during the season, and a CAP committee did the shopping and wrapping. They then took the gifts to NWC,

which delivered them. Gifts included Bashas’ grocery gift cards,

shirts, slippers, and other personal care items. Funds for the grocery cards were provided by SLERF (Sun Lakes Emergency Relief Fund, sponsored by fi re department personnel); other gifts were purchased with CAP funds. CAP committee members for this project

were Carolyn Barrans, Anne Divoky and Joy Dolin. 
