Mitt Romney: THE Right Man At The Right Time

The presidential elec-

tion of 2012 may just well be the most im- portant election of our lifetime. Four more years of the

present administration is sure to cause irrepara- ble harm to our economy and personal freedoms. The Republican candidates this year are one

of the finest groups we have seen and we would proudly vote for any one of them next November. Still, the number one issue at hand is in defeating Barack Obama and his progressive agenda. We feel that the best candidate to take on this task and to win is Mitt Romney. As a businessman in the private sector he was in-

Tom Blais, president of Rokon International, in Rochester, New Hampshire, with Matt Light, New England Patriots offensive lineman aboard a Rokon Trailbreaker. The Rokon, an all-wheel drive motorcycle, will soon be seen in the movie “Expendables 2” with Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

A local firm’s two-wheel

drive motorcycles are al- ready the things of off- road legend, having found their way into 27 different publications and dozens of countries around the world, not to mention the movies.

“People who own them

are passionate about them and their performance. It’s really a cult-like following’’ says Rokon International President Tom Blais, who points to a picture on his office wall showing New England Patriot offensive lineman Matt Light, one of 60,000 Rokon owners. There’s even a photo on

the wall of former Presi- dent George W. Bush rid- ing a Rokon motorcycle with an attached trailer at his Crawford, Texas ranch. And, later this year,

strumental in helping many well-known businesses to success, such as Domino’s Pizza and Staples. In his time as Governor of Massachusetts, he helped turn a massive deficit to a 600 million-dollar sur- plus while working with a Democratic majority in the House and Senate. When he took office, jobs were leaving the state, when he was finished, thou- sands of new jobs had been created. His efforts in saving the 2002 Winter Olympics

from disaster were extraordinary. Asked to take over an event losing sponsors in the midst of a bid-rigging scandal with serious budget problems, he cleaned up the leadership, restored public confi- dence and trimmed the budget. He did all this while at the same time ensuring the safety of millions at the event in the wake of the 9/11 attacks. A record number of Americans are showing dis-

satisfaction with the direction the country is headed in. We have seen three years of economic ignorance by a president who has no grasp or focus of what truly needs to be done. It has all been guesses and misses. It’s time for a president who knows what to do from day one as we are running out of time for experiments. Governor Romney is the right man for the job.
