I would like to start by thanking the membership for giving me the chance to be your Vice Chairman for the next twelve months.
As I am now starting my 15th year on the Centre‟s Nick with Jude
Committee, I would like to say how I have seen the Centre change over the years. We have a steady group of regular ralliers, some out a few times in the year and others out most weekends, but every weekend is different, this is due to the ideas of the marshals and the members who take part. It has been stated many times over the years that you only get out what you put in, so if you are a long serving member of the Centre or a new member it would be great to see you on a rally in the near future. Rallying is fun for all ages, great for
meeting people from all walks of life with the same interest in one thing – Caravanning. Finally I would like to wish you all safe and happy caravanning for the coming season.

As I begin my fifth year as Centre Secretary, I would like to thank everyone who has supported me over the last four years, my fellow committee members and their partners, Nick and the girls and my predecessor Andy Haigh who continues to work hard behind the scenes as the Centre Webmaster. proved to be a success with fewer mistakes in the rally book. The Centre Handbook, which is issued free to all
Leicestershire Centre members, needs to be distributed, but postage is very expensive, so thanks to everyone who has helped deliver many of these books by hand. Centre registration is valid for one year only, to continue your membership you need to re-register
each year when your membership to the Caravan Club is due, regardless of how you pay your membership subscription, this can be done by either completing and sending the Centre Registration Advice or phoning Club Membership Services 01342 318813. Members are respectfully asked to renew their membership to the Centre on time as any delay means that they get deleted from the current list and are re-introduced as a new member. The Caravan Club changed their computer system in March 2009, this caused a few headaches
along the way but hopefully most of the creases have been ironed out there may still problems and we hope that you can be patient. I look forward to seeing you out and about on the rally field in the coming months. I look forward to seeing you out and about on the rally field in the coming months.
