“Thumbs down to the administrator who tried to patronize the person who did not agree with teacher workshops. First of all, development hours can be done after normal school hours, secondly, the curriculum does need to change, but proven methods of teaching do not. Change for the better is good, change for the worse, is not. Obama has proven this fact. In the ‘old days’, we did not have to retake tests to pass a class, we passed the first time. Since you are the expert, maybe you can provide facts.”
“Thumbs up to Mr.
Cassedy! Your enthusiasm and energy are contagious. You go above and beyond. The WHS Band concert was amazing. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to the students!!”
“Thumbs down to Pelham Board of Selectmen for recruiting, hiring various department heads to protect interest of few and not the majority citizens of Pelham. The town administrator is the worst, who is manipulative, deceptive, involved in building his own empire and not good for majority of the Pelham citizens.”

“Thumbs down to the callous and ignorant comment in regards to the lack of necessity of public kindergarten and special education preschool. Both of which are mandatory by state and federal statutes. Kindergarten is now what first grade use to be. Special Ed Preschool is mandatory and many services are refunded by Medicaid. Early intervention cuts down on exorbitant spending in the future. If you nip the bud early enough and weed, water, and give it plenty of sun it

“Thumbs down to Pelham BOS.
Congratulations, you have just changed my vote and the other votes in my household into ‘no’ votes. That money is not yours to spend on anything never mind a fire station that has been
“Thumbs down to the Pelham Selectmen for keeping the 1 million dollars they were hiding for there pet projects, ie: the new firehouse that was voted down several times. This money should be given back to the taxpayer to lower the tax rate, it would lower the average tax bill by $500.00. This amount plus the extra $1.00 per thousand dollars they plan to get in March equals an extra $3.00 on the tax rate that will never go away. That adds up to an extra $1,500.00 to the average taxpayer. To the many families struggling to survive in town this could be the final nail in the coffin. Expect more foreclosures in town! Lets hope the selectmen rethink their backdoor move and return the taxpayers money to the taxpayers. The firehouse belongs in a warrant article.”
“Thumbs down to all the drivers who absolutely disregard the 15/30 speed limit on Tallant Road. There already have been a number of accidents on this road. When you are on your cell phone or texting and exceeding the speed limit; and the snow starts - let the games begin.”

“Thumbs up to the Pelham
taxpayer. Why does the Pelham Fire Department need so many vehicles? They have 2 new Super- duty pickups for forestry duty that sit in the parking lot that are moved to different positions to make it look like they are being used. There are 2 command SUV’s, 1 for the chief ,1 for coffee runs, plus 2 more vehicles for the fire inspector and another coffee vehicle for the regular firemen. Why can’t the Super-duty pickups be used in place of the SUV’s? The excess vehicles could be sold and the Super-duty pickup’s could be useful instead of just looking good for show.”

“Thumbs down to the gas leak which school officials lied about. If it was your kid’s school I am sure you would give a damn. You should all be fired for your incompetence, inability to react appropriately in an emergency situation and deceit. My kid was in that building jerks.”
“Thumbs down to the Windham School Board and teachers union for potentially failing to come to terms on a contract for a second year in a row. Compromise! In the long run, our kids will pay the ultimate price.”
“Thumbs down. Bah humbug to the scrooge
who can’t enjoy the Festival of Trees. My suggestion is move back to Methuen. Enjoy Methuen! Merry Christmas!”
