POLYFRAME LAUNCHES UNIQUE RANGE OF MODULAR CONSERVATORIES

To meet the increasing demand for ‘off the shelf’ modular style conservatories, Polyframe recently launched its own Solis Modular Conservatory Range.

This unique range of has been developed utilising the new Polylink system which allows Polyframe to pre-glaze all frames before they are delivered, enabling savings in both time and money to be made on site.

The remarkable method of construction

enables a conservatory to be erected without the need for screwing frames together – complete from the dwarf wall to watertight in a single day. The Polylink system incorporates specially-designed aluminium couplers, which combined with the factory-fitted PVCu frame adaptor, replace the traditional method of drilling and screwing frames together. In addition, this system enables +/- 5mm of frame adjustment at each joint.

The principle of the system is that all frames have a frame adaptor attached and either an angled or straight aluminium

coupler is utilised to join the frames, ensuring that the joint is both strong and permanent.

A series of Polybuttons are factory-fitted to the cill and enable the frame to easily slide into position but with a secure fixing to the cill. Once the cill and the wall starter section are in place, no more drilling is required until the ring beam is installed – a system that saves the fitter time and reduces the risk of glazing breakages with all frames having been pre-glazed in the factory.

The range encompasses five attractive styles

of conservatory, in four sizes and five colour options, to ensure that there is a product to suit any customer aspiration. As well as the options availabl,e each design has a choice of French door and opening window positions that ultimately gives more than 5,000 different permutations for customers to choose from.

The Solis range is available in the WHS Halo Eclipse profile and - as with all Polyframe products - security is a key feature of the Solis Range. All products are

Kitemarked and BBA approved, with police- approved “Secured by Design” shootbolt locking. Furthermore, the glazed frames are supplied with toughened Low E glass as standard, with a centre pane U Value of 1.15.

All conservatories are supplied fully glazed, complete with all frames, French doors, roof in polycarbonate or glass, 150mm cill with factory fitted Polybuttons, guttering and rainwater pipes and all necessary fixings and silicones. A full set of working drawings is also supplied including – base layout, cill layout, elevations and flashing details.

For added design options, additional doors and opening windows can be added to the chosen style if required.
