Opportunities abound at The Hawthorns
THERE is an unsurpassed range of opportunities on offer … “a school in a million” say parents. “A happy, buzzing ethos pervades The Hawthorns” said the I.S.I. inspectors.
In a wonderfully diverse environment and a friendly, family
atmosphere, girls and boys from two-years-old are nurtured under the motto of ‘Love God, love thy neighbour’. They develop a deep sense of purpose, a love for learning and a care for others. A consistently high quality of teaching and learning leads pupils of all abilities towards their potential.

Dynamic and energetic leadership together with an open partnership with parents makes The Hawthorns a vibrant and exciting community. Set in 35 beautiful acres, with fabulous facilities, opportunities abound (e.g. plays, concerts, fixtures, visits, residential trips and an extensive co-curricular programme). Students reach County and National levels at Sport, whilst less competitive pupils enjoy outdoor education (e.g. high wires), adventure sports and Conservation.
Schools of Swimming and Dance (open to the local community) and bursting programmes of Music and Drama further extend the choices! Life and study skills such as time management, teamwork, service and public speaking and are also taught and caught.
A visit is essential and you will receive a very warm welcome. Early
registration is important. For further details please ring Gail Johnson on 01883 743048.
