The feedback from the young people and their parents and carers has been really positive, they have gained in confidence and social skills, making some good friends and even their school work has improved! Parents and Carers have commented on how helpful it is to meet others with similar issues, make new friends, network and celebrate the achievements of their children. It’s a great place for everyone to just be them- selves. None of this could happen without the help and support of the local Tavistock community, including fund raising events such as the annual Son-Rise Cup and Mount House School’s Charity Ball. The securing of grants from places such as Heart Radio, Aiming High for Disabled Children


and Children in Need have enabled us to keep going for 5 years. It is so heart- warming to see how the group has progressed, the hugely positive effect it has had on both the young people and their parents and carers and I am truly humbled at the support we have received from so many.”
