Blood donors earn
chance at getaway Donate blood to United Blood Services/AZ in December to be entered in a drawing for a travel package that includes weekend stays in Sedona, Wickenburg and Phoenix, as well as a one-night stay in Tucson. The raffl e winner also receives a $100 gas card.
In addition to being entered in the getaway raffl e, those who donate between Dec. 18 and 31 earn a voucher for a ticket to the 2012 Waste Management Phoenix Open in Scottsdale.

Celebrate the seven women who founded P.E.O. in Iowa on Jan. 21, 1869, by attending the annual P.E.O. Founders Day Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Sat., Jan. 21, 2012, at Oakwood Country Club in Sun Lakes. All members and their guests are invited to attend. P.E.O. is a philanthropic educational organization that promotes educational opportunities for women and supports six philanthropies including ownership of Cottey College, a college for women in Nevada, MO; and fi ve programs that provide assistance for higher education.
The luncheon is sponsored by the P.E.O. Chandler / Gilbert / Sun Lakes Reciprocity Council, and hosted by Chapter EN in Sun Lakes.
