One of ECHO’s main initiatives is to assist agriculturalists in de- veloping countries maximize their crops in the face of difficult climates and economic conditions. The ECHO property consists of com-

The plots also foster the non- profit’s seed bank which is comprised of 350 seed varieties from vegetables, fruits and other tropical crops. Some seeds have been cultivated for unfavorable farming condi- tions and trial packets of all seed types are distributed overseas free of charge. ECHO directly supports farmers world-

In addition, trained staff respond to numerous ques- tions about crops and various problems related to erosion, drought, pest control.
