the Cutty Sark at Greenwich dock. The £26 million project, which is due to open in the spring of 2012, will raise the 900 tonne ship three metres above a glass-roofed museum built underneath, allowing visitors to view the clipper’s uniquely shaped hull. Due to the unusual floor construction in the dry berth, the underfloor heating panels had to be specially designed byWMS. The raised floor, supported by pedestals, consists of large calcium sulphate boards with precision grooves to allow the underfloor heating pipework to be laid flush within each panel in preparation for laying the finished floor tiles. This bespoke system also achieves a very high maximum output of 100w/m2
