Where will this course take me? This course will enable you to gain a qualification and skills that will assist in applying for higher education, university level study or employment.
What else do I need to know? It is not necessary to play an instrument or have any previous experience in working with music technology. However, it is essential to have an interest in listening to or working with music.
Entry Criteria
Applicants will be auditioned and interviewed before the start of the course and should present a portfolio or examples of relevant work. The interview / audition will include a test of candidates’ music perception.

What is this course about? This course is designed for those who wish to become involved in live sound, recording, music business, electronics, acoustics and sound for moving image. Equipped with the most modern industry-standard resources, students have the opportunity to learn and develop technical skills. Students will benefit from the knowledge and experience of tutors and technicians who have worked and studied across a range of areas within the music industry.
