inspiration of the Flora and Fauna theme. A city- wide art contest will be held asking students to create colored paper artwork representing their design. A selection committee will review the submissions and choose ninety-six designs to be displayed at the park. The selected artists will then be assisted by Roseville Arts! staff to create their final artwork using the repurposed mosaic tiles. A graffiti resistant finish will be applied to all artwork, and the completed tiles will be installed on the existing stanchions at Sculpture Park.
The City’s Parks & Recreation Commission was presented this proposal in April 2011 and unanimously supported this new program. Funding for this program through the Community Facilities District, donations, sponsorships and grants are currently being secured. Our first community volunteer has already stepped up. A Roseville Boy Scout, who is working to become an Eagle Scout, will help manage the project with the guidance and supervision of Roseville
Arts! Staff. This program is expected to unfold over the next 18 months.

The vision and dedication of Angelo Tsakopoulas in creating this park is long lasting. The community helped create Sculpture Park and now the community will help revitalize it. In 18 months, we will hold a ribbon-cutting celebration showcasing new and colorful art.
Come join us and experience the excitement! I
