Join us at the Dylan Thomas Centre for a lively mix of events in January and February 2012!
Delyth Jenkins, a leading exponent of the Celtic harp, launches her new solo album, Llais, on Saturday 4 February. The evening starts with a performance by Delyth. She will then be joined by actors from Fluellen Theatre Company in a celebration of the longstanding connection between them. The performance will be followed by an opportunity for you to enjoy a glass of wine with Delyth and friends.
A special event to celebrate is the release of Sarah Coles’ fi rst collection, Here and the Water (Gomer), which takes place on 23
February. Swansea-based Sarah’s poetry, fi ction and reviews have also appeared in Planet magazine and Gomer's recent anthology, Another Country: Haiku Poetry from Wales.
Lee Miller’s Visiting Picasso exhibition continues in the corridor gallery until 19 January. Lee Miller charted her remarkable friendship with Picasso from 1937 to his death in 1973, and this exhibition, which includes images of other members of the international surrealist circle, offers you a unique and intimate portrait of life close to Picasso.
