Loughor Boating Club hosts an Acoustic Session on Mondays with an occasional guest night. Llanelli Folk Club has Open Mic and Poems & Pints every Wednesday in The Queen Victoria Pub.


On alternate Wednesdays, The Buck Inn, Pontlliw hosts Acoustic Bluegrass Picking Sessions and Dyffryn Aman Acoustics Club meets at The Red Lion, Llandybie on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

y Tawe, Swansea on the


second Friday of each month and Welsh Language Guest Artists feature at The Pontardawe Inn on the third Friday of each month; on the 20th of January, Steve Eaves and Yr Alltud will be performing.


Halfpenny Folk Club, The Greyhound Inn, Oldwalls has a Singers' Night every Sunday (excluding bank holidays) and


Tune Sessions on the fi rst Wednesday of each month at Mount Pisgah Chapel, Parkmill.


Mother and daughter harp & fi ddle duo DnA (Delyth & Angharad Jenkins) will be the club guests on 29th January.


Valley Folk Club, meeting at the Ivy Bush Hotel, Pontardawe have a Singers' Night, fi rst Friday of the month. They also welcome the legendary exponent of ragtime guitar, John James, as guest musician on 20th January. Foot stomping old time, country, folk & bluegrass band Feral Mouth make their way over from Norfolk on 17th February.

Pontardawe Arts Centre thaws out in the latter half of February with Indonesian gamelan innovators Sambasunda Quintet on 17th February. Jazz-

infl uenced folk rock band Jacqui McShee's Pentangle takes the stage on 22nd February and rock-based, Celtic-infl uenced Karnataka on 29th February.
